Logicor Expands European Logistics Real Estate Presence in Rheine with Sustainable Development

(IN BRIEF) Logicor, a prominent player in European logistics real estate, is increasing its footprint in Rheine, a strategic business location. Currently, a logistics property with two units covering approximately 20,000 square meters (Rheine II) is under construction on Sandkampstrasse / Lingener Damm. Additionally, a business park comprising four units spanning approximately 24,200 square meters (Rheine III) will be developed at the site. These projects will complement Logicor’s existing site in Rheine, where Rheine 1, a logistics property for the DACHSER Group, was built in 2016. Upon completion, the site will offer a total rental area exceeding 66,500 square meters. Positioned near major logistics hubs with connections to the Netherlands and Osnabrück, the site plays a crucial role in European transport. Sustainability is a priority in this development, with a focus on recycling demolition waste, utilizing renewable energy sources, and achieving high environmental standards such as BREEAM “Very good” certification. Logicor’s collaboration with the city of Rheine and the Development and Economic Promotion Agency (EWG) aims to transform existing commercial space into modern, sustainable real estate, contributing to economic success and regional growth in North Rhine-Westphalia.

A logistics property with two units totalling c.20,000 square meters (Rheine II) is currently under construction on Sandkampstrasse / Lingener Damm. The site will be complemented by the construction of a business park with four units spanning a total area of c.24,200 square meters (Rheine III).
