(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 13-Nov-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor, a leading European owner, manager and developer of logistics real estate, has embarked on the construction of its inaugural regional logistics park in the Czech Republic.

Situated in close proximity to vital road networks connecting Prague and the city of Liberec, this project involves the redevelopment of a former brownfield site. It is set to unfold in two phases, culminating in the creation of two contemporary warehouses, boasting a combined floor area of 20,000 sqm, including 1,800 sqm allocated for office space. Notably, one of the buildings will feature a cross-docking facility.

The inaugural construction phase is already in progress, marked by the completion of demolition work, groundwork, and column structures.

In alignment with this redevelopment initiative, Logicor is dedicated to enhancing the local infrastructure. This commitment includes the development of new cycle paths, road enhancements, and the beautification of public areas. Whenever feasible, the company has engaged local suppliers for this endeavor.

The constructed buildings are designed to meet stringent sustainability standards, including the attainment of BREEAM certification at the “Very Good” level. The project will incorporate energy-efficient technologies, such as photovoltaic panels, and introduce environmentally friendly features like a new tree alley, enhanced green spaces, and dedicated cycling paths. Of note, the site conveniently adjoins a rail siding that facilitates freight transport.

The first phase of the Logicor Příšovice project is slated for completion by mid-2024.

“Our first development in the Czech Republic is well underway and attracting strong interest from potential customers. Logicor Park Příšovice will include great sustainability initiatives and play a key role in benefitting the community through better public amenities and potential job creation,” stated Pavel Rufert, Director, Logicor Czech Republic.

Logicor has been operating logistics assets in the Czech Republic since 2017 and currently owns and manages approximately 115,000 square meters in the country.
