Lindner floor panels now FSC certified

Lindner floor panels now FSC certified

(PRESS RELEASE) ARNSTORF, Germany, 25-Nov-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Europe’s leading manufacturer and contractor for the building envelope, interior fit-out and insulation Lindner announces that almost all of its raised and hollow floor panels have FSC certification now (License number FSC® C119815), once again setting an example in terms of sustainability.

The internationally recognized FSC certificate (Forest Stewardship Council®) stands for sustainable, responsible forest management and a transparent production chain from the tree to the finished product. The quality of FSC-certified wood and paper does not necessarily differ from non-certified material. The difference is that the wood comes from forests that are managed more responsibly and not from illegal logging or overexploitation.

With the expansion of the existing FSC multi-site certification (Tatranwood spol. s.r.o. and Lindner Türen-Fassaden s.r.o.) to include the production units Lindner NORIT GmbH & Co. KG and Lindner SE (business unit floors), Lindner has this certificate for almost all raised floor and hollow floor panels now. It underlines Lindner’s steadily sustainable approach.

This applies to the high density chipboard panel LIGNA, the fibre-reinforced calcium sulphate panels NORTEC and FLOOR and more as well as to the high-density cement fibre panels HYDRO. Lindner is the only manufacturer of FSC-certified gypsum fibre products. The quick and smooth implementation of the FSC requirements was possible because the existing management systems from Lindner NORIT GmbH & Co.KG and the Lindner SE could be used as a basis.
