(PRESS RELEASE) ARNSTORF, 15-Jun-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Lindner Group, Europe’s leading supplier, manufacturer and service provider for the interior fit-out, building envelopes and insulation, announces that Berlin’s vibrant Alexanderplatz district has become home to contemporary working spaces designed for media professionals in the digital age. Lindner Group has taken charge of the tenant fit-out across seven floors and the technical building infrastructure.

Redefining Workspaces

The Berlin publishing house at Alexanderplatz has played a significant role in Germany’s media landscape for decades. The recent addition of the Pressehaus Podium has expanded the historic complex. The Office Group has leased the entire extension, offering flexible office environments to dynamic companies in need of scalable spaces. Architects from gmp Architekten have meticulously crafted adaptable workspaces, allowing tenants to customize sizes and configurations to their needs. The offices, meeting rooms, and co-working areas are complemented by quiet rooms and communal spaces, promoting individualized work routines. On-site food and fitness facilities, along with a café, cater to diverse working preferences.

Flexibility, Design, and Individuality

Lindner served as the general contractor, overseeing the tenant fit-out from the ground floor to the sixth floor, customized to meet each tenant’s specifications. In addition to installing doors, ceiling and floor systems, Lindner executed extensive dry lining, carpentry, and painting work. The new building successfully merges functionality and design. Lindner’s LINDNER LIFE NATURE partitions, crafted from timber and glass, not only provide separation and privacy in offices and fitness areas but also create a warm and timeless ambiance. Mobile partition systems enable easy and swift spatial adjustments. The tenant fit-out was completed with carpet, parquet, and terrazzo flooring, along with a comprehensive furniture package, including two bar counters and an advertising pedestal made of LINCRETE GLASS FIBRE REINFORCED CONCRETE.

State-of-the-Art Building Technology

Beyond the exquisite tenant fit-out, Lindner ensured the Sky Lounge captivates visitors with its stunning view of Berlin. Special solutions were implemented for the technical building infrastructure, concealing a significant portion of the air-conditioning technology behind veneered and stained panel claddings suspended from the ceiling. This approach ensures an unobstructed panoramic view of the capital. An additional maintenance level atop the Pressehaus Podium provides convenient access to the blind motors. The Lindner acoustic ceiling, designed as a baffle ceiling, complements the walk-in level by incorporating suspended building services. Extensive plumbing, electrical, and insulation work completed Lindner Group’s comprehensive building services.
