Vestas Secures Order for 25 Wind Turbines in Sweden’s Horshaga Wind Park

(IN BRIEF) Vestas, a leading wind turbine manufacturer, has received a substantial order from SR Energy AB for the Horshaga wind park in southern Sweden’s Uppvidinge municipality. The order encompasses 20 V162-6.2 MW and five V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, along with the supply, delivery, and commissioning of these turbines. Vestas will further provide long-term servicing under a 35-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) agreement, ensuring optimal performance. This partnership underscores the commitment to sustainable investments in renewable energy, with the project set to contribute 147 MW of renewable energy to southern Sweden upon completion, fostering regional development and industrial transformation. Turbine delivery is slated to begin in Q1 2025, with commissioning expected to conclude in Q1 2026.

(PRESS RELEASE) HAMBURG, 29-Sep-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Vestas has received a firm order from SR Energy AB for the Horshaga wind park in Uppvidinge municipality, southern Sweden.

The order consists of 20 V162-6.2 MW and five V150-4.5 MW wind turbines and includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will service the turbines under a 35-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to ensure optimised performance of the assets.
