Vestas Secures 243 MW Order for RWE Clean Energy Wind Project in the USA

(IN BRIEF) Vestas has been awarded a 243 MW contract to supply 54 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines for an undisclosed wind project owned by RWE Clean Energy, LLC, in the USA. The order encompasses turbine supply, delivery, and commissioning, along with a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement to optimize asset performance. Turbine delivery is slated to begin in Q2 2024, with commissioning expected in Q4 2024, contributing to the growth of clean energy generation in the United States.

(PRESS RELEASE) AARHUS, 14-Sep-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Vestas has received a 243 MW order to power an undisclosed wind project owned by RWE Clean Energy, LLC, in the USA. The order consists of 54 V163-4.5 MW wind turbines.

The order include supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.
