(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 14-Jan-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced it landed a lease contract with a multinational company for approximately one third of Nowy Rynek E – the fourth office building in a mixed-use project in Poznan, Poland. Following this lease the building will now be 33 percent occupied. The building is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2023.
The 15-storey office building will have a total leasable area of around 28,500 square meters and will offer approximately 230 underground parking places. It is expected to receive several certifications: LEED Platinum, WELL Core & Shell, WELL Health & Safety Rating and Building without Barriers, awarded to futureproof, high-quality office spaces with top safety standards reducing the risk of disease transmission and facilitate creating healthy and safe workplaces.
The building is a part of an office complex Nowy Rynek with a total usable space of about 100,000 square meters, located in the central business district of Poznan. Skanska sold the first two buildings to Franklin Templeton Investments and Corum Asset Management, respectively. The third phase, with a total leasable area of 39,000 square meters, is 93 percent leased and was delivered in the second quarter of 2021.
