Skanska buys development property in Bærum, Norway for about EUR 20.6 million from Norwegian real estate developer Profier

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 6-Oct-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced it has acquired a development property for residential purpose in Bærum, Norway for some NOK 210M (SEK 210M / EUR 20.6M) from Profier, Norwegian real estate developer.

The property Kirkeveien 59 is ready zoned for block housing and concentrated single-family housing. Skanska plans to build 50 apartments and 28 terraced houses. The project will be BREEAM-certified and construction work is expected to start 2023.

Skanska is one of the leading construction- and project development companies in the Nordics, with operations in building construction and civil engineering in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and developing residential- and commercial property projects in select home markets.
