Skanska announces the purchase of 2 hectares of land in Krakow, Poland for nearly EUR 19 million

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 1-Sep-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced the purchase of 2 hectares (20,000 square meters) of land in Krakow, Poland for nearly EUR 19 million (~PLN 90 million, SEK 200 million). The seller is Poczta Polska, which is the state postal administration of Poland.

The plot will be dedicated to a new development and is located in Krakow’s city center, providing excellent access to public transport as well as a network of cycling paths. The neighborhood is one of Krakow’s fastest growing workplace areas, with offices, restaurants, and sport facilities. The estimated potential of gross leasable area is around 47,000 square meters.
