Additionally, the company is strengthening its Digital Identity & Security (DIS) engineering footprint with plans to establish a worldwide Cyber Security Hub and CoE for Hardware and Embedded Software, alongside creating a Transversal CoE for Eco-Design & AI-assisted Technologies.

Key Expansions:

  1. Reinforcement of Avionics Asia-Pacific Industrial Centre (AAIC): Thales plans to establish a Centre of Excellence at its AAIC in Changi North Rise, focusing on industrializing new flight avionics products and implementing Smart Factory 4.0 automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance competitiveness and sustainability in the avionics industry.
  2. Expansion of Digital Identity & Security Engineering Competence Centre (DIS ECC): Thales will invest in its DIS ECC engineering capabilities, with a focus on Cybersecurity, Hardware, and Embedded Software. Additionally, a Transversal CoE for eco-Design and AI-assisted Technologies will be established to integrate eco-design practices into future products and services.
