Saab Secures USD 190 Million Contract with UAE Ministry of Defence for GlobalEye AEW&C Support

GlobalEye is an advanced multi-domain AEW&C solution that provides long-range detection and identification of objects in the air, at sea, and over land, enhancing situational awareness and early threat detection for military units. (PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 22-Jan-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab AB (STO: SAAB-B), leading company in the military defence and civil security markets, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defence have inked a contract, resulting in Saab receiving an order for the in-service support of the GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system. This contract, valued at approximately USD 190 million, spans three years and will be in effect until 2026. The scope of the contract encompasses maintenance, logistics support, and training services.
