Saab receives SEK 350m call-off orders for ammunition and anti-armour weapons from NATO

(IN BRIEF) Saab has signed framework agreements with NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for the Carl-Gustaf® M4 weapon system and the AT4 anti-armour weapon. The NSPA has also placed call-off orders worth around SEK 350 million for Carl-Gustaf ammunition and AT4 deliveries. The Carl-Gustaf ammunition deliveries are planned for 2023-2025, while the AT4 deliveries are planned for 2023-2024. The agreements are valid until 2026 and 2027 for AT4 and Carl-Gustaf respectively. Saab’s ground combat systems provide defence forces with necessary precision and effectiveness in combat, and are already in use by several NATO members, including the US, Canada, and the UK.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 30-Mar-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Saab AB (STO: SAAB-B), leading company in the military defence and civil security markets, has entered into framework agreements with NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) for the Carl-Gustaf® M4 weapon system and the AT4 anti-armour weapon. Additionally, NSPA has placed call-off orders for a total value of approximately SEK 350 million.

The call-off orders include Carl-Gustaf ammunition deliveries planned for 2023-2025, and AT4 deliveries planned for 2023-2024. The AT4 framework agreement will be valid until 2026, while the Carl-Gustaf agreement, which includes ammunition, will be valid until 2027.

Saab’s ground combat systems provide defence forces with the necessary precision and effectiveness, giving them the advantage in combat, while ensuring soldiers can carry out their missions safely. Notably, the U.S., Canada, and the UK are among the NATO members already using Saab’s ground combat solutions.
