Outokumpu Oyj repurchased 80,325 own shares as Part of EUR 50 Million Buyback Program

(IN BRIEF) Outokumpu finalized its share repurchase program on February 15, 2024, purchasing shares on two trading venues. The total cost amounted to EUR 330,701.62 for 80,325 shares. This action is in line with the company’s previously announced buyback program of up to 11 million shares, approved by the Board of Directors under the Annual General Meeting authorization, with a maximum budget of EUR 50 million. As a result, Outokumpu now holds a total of 32,474,480 treasury shares.

Outokumpu announced a share buyback program of a maximum of 11 million shares on November 29, 2023. The Board of Directors approved a share buyback program of up to EUR 50 million under the authorization of the Annual General Meeting. The program will end no later than on March 21, 2024.

After the disclosed transactions, Outokumpu holds 32,474,480 treasury shares.
