Lindner Group to present wide range of training and career opportunities for students at the First Contact, a university contact fair, in Deggendorf

(PRESS RELEASE) ARNSTORF, Germany, 30-Mar-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Lindner Group, Europe’s leading supplier, manufacturer and service provider for the interior fit-out, building envelopes and insulation, has announced it will be present at the First Contact fair with wide range of training and career opportunities for students. The event, held in Deggendorf,  is a university contact fair where students and companies can get to know each other and make initial contacts.

Link between Education and Companies

Career fairs like the First Contact Deggendorf give companies the chance to present themselves and convince potential employees of their benefits. On the other hand, students can find out about possible employers during their studies, establish contacts and, in the best case, even obtain a position for their thesis, an internship or a permanent contract. As the location of the Technical University, Deggendorf is the optimal place to bring regional companies together with students from the THD or other colleges and universities. However, students from high schools, technical secondary schools and vocational secondary schools are also welcome to attend.

This year’s First Contact will take place under the 3G+ regulations on 05.04.2022 in the city halls in Deggendorf. The fair starts at 10.00 am and ends at 3.00 pm.

Students as Part of the Lindner Family

The Lindner Group will also be a guest at First Contact and will present a wide range of training and career opportunities for students:

  • get a taste of the practical world with a (pre-study) internship
  • gain international experience with an internship abroad
  • work alongside your studies as a working student
  • combine education and practice with a final year thesis
  • entry opportunities in a wide range of fields

More than 60 students are currently employed by the Lindner Group in various areas.

The Lindner Internship Flat-Share

If students are still looking for accommodation for an internship at the Arnstorf headquarters, the Lindner Group has taken precautions: the internship flat-share offers space for up to four interns and is located within walking distance of the company. In addition to fully furnished single rooms and a fitted kitchen, the flat also contains two bathrooms for shared use. The shared apartment not only makes it easier to build friendships with other interns, but also avoids the time-consuming search for accommodation or overpriced rent payments.
