Conversion of A Shares to R Shares
(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 16-Jan-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Stora Enso (HEL: STERV), a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper, has announced shares conversion. During the December 2022 conversion period, one conversion took place and a total of 4 A shares were converted into R shares. The shares were recorded in the Finnish trade register on January 16, 2023, and trading in the new R shares will begin on January 17, 2023.
The breakdown of shares after the conversion is 176,238,276 A shares and 612,381,711 R shares, for a total of 788,619,987 shares. Each A share and each ten R shares carry one vote, resulting in a total of at least 237,476,447 votes after the conversion.
