Skanska Secures £158 Million Contract with Telehouse for London Data Centre Project

(IN BRIEF) Skanska, a construction and development company, has announced a GBP 158 million contract with Telehouse for a data center project in Docklands, London, UK. The project encompasses mechanical and electrical fit-outs for two floors, additional plant and infrastructure installations, and other construction activities to support the facility’s development. Work has commenced, and the project is set to conclude in June 2024. This contract will be included in Skanska’s order bookings for Europe in the fourth quarter of 2023.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 11-Oct-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has signed a contract with Telehouse for a data centre project in Docklands, London, UK. The contract is worth GBP 158M, about SEK 2.1 billion, which will be included in the order bookings for Europe for the fourth quarter of 2023.

The work involves the mechanical and electrical fit out of two of the floors, together with the installation of extra plant and infrastructure. It also includes other construction work in support of the development of the facility.

Early works have already started, and the project is scheduled to be completed in June 2024.
