(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 11-Oct-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (STO: SEB-A) (SEB), a Swedish financial group leader on the Nordic market, has announced it earned a top ranking in commissioned research in Prospera’s new survey where 128 buyers of commissioned research ranked their providers. The group achieves this high rating for the third year in a row.
“It is gratifying to see that customers feel confident in our ambition to offer commissioned research with integrity and high quality. We maintain the same high ratings as last year and have the strongest brand of all the eleven players included in the survey”, says Nicklas Fhärm, head of Corporate Research.
Commissioned research is a business area, where companies pay for their own corporate analysis. The focus is mainly on smaller companies that are not covered by traditional equities analysis.
SEB does not issue any recommendations or target prices, but in other respects its commissioned research is as extensive and in-depth as other equities analysis with respect to earnings projections and company valuations.
Ranked highest
Prospera’s survey covers eleven providers of commissioned research. It shows that SEB has the strongest brand among the research houses included in the study. Customers were also asked to rank the providers in 13 other subsets, and the aggregate result is presented in an Overall Performance score.
SEB was ranked number one with a score of 4.08 on a five-point scale (same score as last year). In the various subsets SEB received the highest score for its analysts’ integrity, company and industry knowledge, personal contacts, fundamental analysis and forecasts.
