The External Asset Management survey is based on interviews with investment managers at 359 companies and financial institutions in the Nordic region and their evaluation of some 40 fund companies and asset managers. The ranking is a compilation in which the results from surveys in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway are aggregated.
SEB climbs from second to first place in the 2022 Nordics ranking with an overall rating of 3.95. Danske Bank AM came second and Nordea AM was third.
“We are of course extremely grateful and humbled to receive such a fine rating. Receiving the top ranking for our asset management from our institutional customers in times marked by major economic challenges shows how determined we are to build good customer relationships and to support our customers in both good times and bad. We will continue to work hard to satisfy our customers and deliver a world-class service,” says Christian Thålin who is head of Asset Management Sales at SEB.
The survey includes criteria such as management performance, customer relationships, reporting, a sustainability perspective with regard to investments, product information and more.
If we look at the national surveys, SEB was ranked in first place in Denmark, in third place in Sweden, fourth in Finland and 14th in Norway.
