Unilever Appoints Heiko Schipper as President, Nutrition Business Group

(IN BRIEF) Unilever has announced the appointment of Heiko Schipper as President of the Nutrition Business Group, effective May 1, 2024. Heiko, currently serving as President of Bayer Consumer Health, brings extensive experience and a successful track record in the global foods and nutrition industry, with over 20 years at Nestlé before leading Nestlé’s global Nutrition business division. Unilever CEO Hein Schumacher expressed confidence in Heiko’s leadership qualities and industry expertise, highlighting his anticipated role in driving growth for Unilever’s Nutrition business, which includes renowned brands like Knorr and Hellmann’s.

Heiko, currently President, Bayer Consumer Health, has deep experience and a successful track record in the global foods and nutrition industry. He started his career at Nestlé, spending more than 20 years in sales and marketing roles in Asia, before rising to lead Nestlé’s global Nutrition business division as CEO in 2014.

He joined Bayer in 2018 and has since driven significant performance improvements to deliver industry-leading growth for Bayer’s Consumer Health division.
