(IN BRIEF) Siemens has introduced two new versions of its Sentron 3WA Power Circuit Breakers to improve electrical distribution capabilities. The 3WA3 series meets both UL 1066 and IEC 60947-2 standards, allowing worldwide use and benefiting manufacturers operating in IEC and UL standardization areas. The 3WA2 series is designed exclusively for the UL 489 market. These additions complement the previously launched 3WA1 version for IEC markets. The Sentron 3WA circuit breakers, part of Siemens Xcelerator, offer high reliability, digital integration, and ease of use, providing protection for critical infrastructure. Upgrades can be done digitally, and new features can be added easily. Enhanced trip units and integrated arc energy reduction technology increase safety. The UL series 3WA2 and 3WA3 are available in three frame sizes with rated current ranges from 800 to 5,000 A.
