Nutreco Appoints Claudio Cervellati as Chief Supply Chain Officer

(IN BRIEF) Nutreco has appointed Claudio Cervellati to the newly created role of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and as a member of Nutreco’s Management Board. Claudio, who joined Nutreco in December 2022, has extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various industries, including agrochemical, chemical, paper, and construction materials. In his new role, Claudio will oversee Nutreco’s global sustainability, procurement, quality, and operations teams, working to integrate the company’s supply chain functions more effectively. Nutreco’s CEO, Fulco van Lede, expressed confidence in Claudio’s operational and supply chain expertise and welcomed his contributions to the company’s mission of “Feeding the Future.” Claudio also expressed enthusiasm for the role and the potential to enhance Nutreco’s supply chain for the benefit of customers and the business.

Before Alvarez and Marsal, Claudio held senior leadership roles across a number of corporations and consulting firms in the agrochemical, chemical, paper and construction materials industries where he successfully led operations improvement, business transformations, turnarounds and mergers.

In this new role, Claudio will be responsible for the global sustainability, procurement, quality and operations teams, bringing the full Nutreco supply chain together.
