The Group will take a minority stake in the new Gallmeister distribution structure, Sequoia, and will distribute the publisher’s books beginning on 1 January 2025.

Founded in 2005, Éditions Gallmeister has grown to prominence in the literary landscape through a combination of high creative standards, visually appealing designs, and a commitment to quality literature from around the globe.

Hachette Livre will share its experience and expertise in distribution and promotion to support Gallmeister’s continued development. The partnership will provide Gallmeister with an extensive range of services and innovations offered by Hachette Livre.

In addition, Hachette Livre will take a minority stake in Sequoia, the subsidiary recently established by Gallmeister to distribute its releases directly to booksellers.
