Nissan Approved as a Member of European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA)

(IN BRIEF) The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has officially approved Nissan’s membership application, effective from January 1, 2024. Nissan, a Japanese vehicle manufacturer with a long history and a strong presence in Europe, operates manufacturing facilities in Spain and the UK, as well as research and development centers in Germany, Spain, and the UK. The company’s European headquarters are located in France. Nissan’s membership will enhance the collective representation of the European vehicle industry and strengthen collaboration in advancing electric mobility and achieving carbon neutrality, according to ACEA Director General Sigrid de Vries and Nissan AMIEO Region Chairperson Guillaume Cartier.

(PRESS RELEASE) BRUSSELS, 20-Oct-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — The Board of Directors of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) has approved a membership application from Nissan, which will take effect from 1 January 2024.

Established in the 1930s, the Japanese vehicle manufacturer has a rich history, producing a wide range of vehicle types and models. With manufacturing facilities in Spain and the UK, and research and development facilities in Germany, Spain, and the UK, Nissan has a strong presence in and commitment to Europe. Its European headquarters are based in France.
