(PRESS RELEASE) VEVEY, 16-May-2019 — /EuropaWire/ — Nestlé entered into exclusive negotiations for the sale of Nestlé Skin Health for a value of CHF 10.2 billion with a consortium led by EQT and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). The proposed transaction will be subject to approval of regulatory authorities and employee consultations. It is expected to close in the second half of 2019. The company will provide an update on the use of proceeds and its future capital structure at that time.

It has a range of leading medical and consumer brands through three complementary business units in prescription, aesthetics and consumer care. Nestlé Skin Health is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, and employs more than 5,000 people across 40 countries. Nestlé Skin Health had net sales of CHF 2.8 billion in 2018.
