(IN BRIEF) Nestlé has announced the departure of François-Xavier Roger, the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), after eight years with the company. Roger has made significant contributions to Nestlé’s financial leadership and sustainable value creation. Nestlé has named Anna Manz, currently the CFO and Board member of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), as the new CFO. Manz brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Johnson Matthey and Diageo. François-Xavier Roger will continue in his position until Anna Manz assumes the role to ensure a smooth transition.

(PRESS RELEASE) LAUSANNE, 30-May-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Nestlé (SWX: NESN), a Swiss multinational food and drink processing conglomerate and the world’s largest food & beverage company, has announced that François-Xavier Roger, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will be stepping down after eight years with the company to pursue new professional endeavors. Throughout his tenure, Roger has provided robust financial leadership, driving sustainable value creation for Nestlé.

Taking over the CFO role will be Anna Manz, who currently serves as CFO and a member of the Board for the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). Manz will assume the position of CFO and Executive Vice President at Nestlé upon her release from her current responsibilities. She will also join the Executive Board of Nestlé S.A. Anna’s arrival is expected to be seamlessly facilitated by François-Xavier Roger, who will continue in his role until his successor is officially onboarded.

Prior to her position at LSEG, Anna Manz held the role of CFO and Executive Director at Johnson Matthey plc, where she oversaw Strategy, Finance, Procurement, and IT functions. She brings extensive experience from her 17-year tenure at Diageo plc, where she served in several senior positions, including Chief Strategy Director, CFO of Asia Pacific, and Group Treasurer.
