Jolanda Poots-Bijl Steps Down from AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board Due to New CFO Role at Ahold Delhaize

(IN BRIEF) Jolanda Poots-Bijl has decided to resign from her position as a member of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, effective from January 31, due to her recent appointment as the CFO of Ahold Delhaize, which would limit her availability for her current board role. The Chair of AkzoNobel’s Supervisory Board, Ben Noteboom, expressed gratitude for her contributions and expertise during her tenure and mentioned that a successor will be announced in due course for nomination at the next Annual General Meeting, with current board members covering her responsibilities in the interim.

The decision follows her appointment as CFO of Ahold Delhaize, which limits availability for her current Supervisory Board role.
