(PRESS RELEASE) COLOMBES, France, 29-Jan-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Chemicals company, Arkema, has appointed Eric Cassisa as their new Vice President (VP) of Safety and Environment.
Cassisa, 52, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Aix-en-Provence. He graduated in École Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC) in Nancy, France with the degree in Chemical Engineering. He also got his Industrial Production Management and Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Edinburgh.
The newly appointed VP, Cassisa, has an outstanding and broad experience in the Chemistry field. He earned his experience in working in France and abroad.
In 1991, Cassisa started his career in BP Chemicals as a Chemical Engineer. He was assigned on technical, project management, and commercial activities in the sale of polyethylene licenses. Years later, he was promoted to become the Business Manager of the Olefins Division in Europe.
After 14 years with BP Chemicals, he joined INEOS, a chemicals company, in 2005. He handled various managerial and operational positions for 10 years in Europe and the United States.
In 2015, Cassisa was promoted to Industrial Director at INEOS Enterprises, a branch of INEOS Group. He managed 25 plants and around 3000 employees.
