Virginie Guérin to Spearhead Arkema’s Institutional Affairs Efforts

(IN BRIEF) Virginie Guérin has been appointed as the new Vice President of Institutional Affairs at Arkema, effective May 1st, 2023, succeeding Nicolas de Warren who is set to retire. With almost 20 years of experience in public affairs across various industries, Guérin will continue to promote the Arkema Group to major institutions and administrations in France, Europe, and internationally. She has previously held leadership roles in Groupe Renault and GEODIS and is a graduate of ONIRIS, INSEAD, and Harvard Business School.

(PRESS RELEASE) COLOMBES, 24-Feb-2023 — /EuropaWire/ —  Arkema (EPA: AKE), a French specialty chemicals and advanced materials company and a global leader in PVDF production, has announced the appointment of Virginie Guérin as its new Vice President of Institutional Affairs, effective May 1st, 2023. She will succeed Nicolas de Warren, who is set to retire after an illustrious career with the company.

With almost two decades of experience in public affairs across various industries and services, Guérin is well equipped to continue promoting the Arkema Group to major institutions and administrations in France, Europe and around the world.

Guérin’s professional journey began as a journalist for the prestigious French magazine L’Usine Nouvelle. She then joined the French Association of Food Industry (ANIA) as the Head of Economics, Innovation and Research Department. She later served as the VP of Public Affairs at Groupe Renault in 2017, and in 2020, moved to GEODIS as SVP CEO Chief of Staff and Public Affairs, where she was responsible for the management of strategic operations.

Guérin is a distinguished Agro-food engineer and a graduate of ONIRIS. Additionally, she has completed the General Management Program from INSEAD and the Executive Leadership Program from Harvard Business School.

Guérin’s extensive experience in public affairs and her impressive track record in various leadership roles make her an excellent fit for her new role at Arkema.
