Kiprun’s new KD900X performance running shoe rely on Arkema’s Pebax® foam and a carbon plate to deliver speed and performance

(PRESS RELEASE) COLOMBES, 21-Sep-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Arkema (EPA: AKE), a French specialty chemicals and advanced materials company and a global leader in PVDF production, has announced that its Pebax® foam and a carbon plate are used by Decathlon’s performance running brand Kiprun in their new KD900X performance running shoe. The new KD900X performance running shoe from the KIPRUN running brand was introduced earlier this September and is the result of the company’s collaboration with sports equipment designer DECATHLON. Arkema’s high performance material Pebax® is widely appreciated for its lightweight, reactivity and exceptional energy return compared to more traditional materials such as EVA or TPU. KIPRUN claims a durability of 1,000 kilometers for its new KD900X performance running shoe.
