Caisse des Dépôts’ Banque des Territoires buys 50 per cent equity stake in Total Quadran portfolio of solar and wind energy for EUR 150 million

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 29-Jan-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Leading energy player Total has just announced that Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts) will acquire a 50% equity stake in Total Quadran’s portfolio of solar and wind energy assets in France for approximately EUR 150 million putting a total value of the portfolio at EUR 300 million. Total Quadran is Total’s renewable electricity production subsidiary in France. The total capacity of the solar and wind energy assets, subject of the deal, is 143 MW generated out of 11 wind farms with 96 MW capacity and 35 solar power plants with 47 MW respectively.

The investment of Banque des Territoires will help Total Quadran to pursue further development of renewable energy projects across France while focused on achieving over 10% return on equity.
