ABN AMRO Chief Risk Officer Tanja Cuppen Concludes Second Term, Successor Search Underway

(IN BRIEF) Tanja Cuppen, the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of ABN AMRO Bank NV, will not be seeking another term after completing two terms in the role. Cuppen joined the bank in October 2017 as CRO and was reappointed in April 2021 for a three-year term, which concludes in April 2024. ABN AMRO’s CEO, Robert Swaak, expressed gratitude for Cuppen’s leadership and contributions during her tenure, while Cuppen herself acknowledged the collaboration and transformation achieved during her time at the bank. The Supervisory Board is now commencing the process of finding a successor for the CRO position.
