Developed in close collaboration with Swiss Side, Continental’s most aerodynamic road tire is now available in a wider size, bringing its drag-reducing performance to riders seeking a combination of speed, stability and comfort across tougher terrain.

The Aero 111 32mm has been engineered for performance-oriented road cycling and is specifically designed for the front wheel.

It was developed with DT Swiss and Swiss Side and uses innovative vortex-generator technology to reduce drag and enhance the sailing effect across all yaw angles.

On the road, changing wind directions and rough surfaces can affect both performance and comfort.

The Aero 111 32mm addresses these challenges through a patented tread pattern featuring 48 precision cavities that act as vortex generators.

These cavities manipulate airflow around the front wheel and help delay airflow separation.

The design improves efficiency at different yaw angles, reducing drag while strengthening the sailing effect that can help propel riders forward with less effort.

Despite its wider profile, the tire is designed to maintain speed, durability and reliable handling.

It uses Continental’s race-proven BlackChili compound, which is engineered to provide low rolling resistance and dependable grip in both wet and dry conditions.

Puncture protection is provided by the Vectran™ Breaker layer, a technology also used in Continental’s Grand Prix 5000 tire family.

The casing is fully Tubeless Ready and compatible with hookless rims.

The Aero 111 is now available with a standard black sidewall in three widths: 32-622, 29-622 and 26-622.

The 32-622 version weighs 310g, the 29-622 version weighs 280g, and the 26-622 version weighs 250g.
