Maersk Names Former CEVA and Kuehne+Nagel Executive as Global Head of Solutions

(IN BRIEF) A.P. Moller – Maersk has appointed Bruno Plantaz as its new Global Head of Solutions and member of the Executive Leadership Team, effective 1 November 2026, succeeding Narin Phol, who will leave the company at the end of September. Plantaz brings extensive international experience in freight forwarding and contract logistics, including ten years at Kuehne+Nagel and more than a decade at CEVA Logistics, where he held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Southern Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa. Maersk also announced that Susana Elvira, Chief People Officer, will leave the company in mid-October after a 24-year career, during which she helped shape Maersk as an attractive and inclusive global workplace. A successor to Elvira has already been appointed and will join on 1 November 2026, with further details to be announced later in coordination with the person’s current employer.

Plantaz will succeed Narin Phol, who will leave Maersk at the end of September.

Plantaz brings broad international experience in freight forwarding and contract logistics.

His career includes ten years at Kuehne+Nagel and more than a decade at CEVA Logistics, where he held senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Southern Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa.

Maersk said Plantaz’s experience across major logistics markets and customer-focused supply chain services will support the company’s continued development of its Solutions business.

Narin Phol has held several senior leadership positions during his time at Maersk.

His roles have covered key regions including Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East and Africa, and North America.

Maersk said Phol played an important role in developing the company’s Logistics & Services business, with a strong focus on serving customers.

The company also announced a leadership change in its People function.

After a 24-year career at Maersk, Susana Elvira, Chief People Officer, has decided to leave the company to explore opportunities outside Maersk.

Elvira will leave the company in mid-October.

Maersk said she has played a pivotal role in shaping the company as an attractive and inclusive workplace for talented colleagues across the world.

A successor to Elvira has been appointed and will join Maersk on 1 November 2026.
