Digi Communications NV announces decision of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM)

(IN BRIEF) Digi Communications N.V. announced that Romania’s communications regulator, ANCOM, has designated its Romanian subsidiary, Digi Romania S.A., as an operator with significant market power in the fixed local access services market across 5,894 localities in Romania. As part of the decision, Digi Romania will now be required to provide wholesale access to its fixed telecommunications network in those areas, allowing other operators to use the infrastructure under regulated conditions.
