(PRESS RELEASE) LA DEFENSE CEDEX, 13-Dec-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Saint-Gobain (EPA: SGO), a French multinational producer of construction, high-performance, and other materials, has announced the divestment of its glass processing business Glassolutions in Denmark to Semcoglas Holding GmbH, a German glass manufacturer.
Glassolutions in Denmark employs approximately 160 people across 4 distribution sites and 2 production sites, with sales of around €30 million in 2020.
This transaction is part of Saint-Gobain’s continued portfolio optimization strategy to enhance the Group’s growth and profitability profile in line with the “Grow & Impact” plan objectives.
