(BIT: ENI), an Italian multinational energy company with focus on innovation, efficiency and accessibility for all, announces that Plenitude, a renowned Italian energy company specializing in 100% renewable energy production, energy sales, services, and an expansive electric vehicle charging network, has entered into a strategic partnership with BlueFloat Energy and Sener Renewable Investments to accelerate offshore wind projects in Spain. This collaboration strengthens the existing joint venture between BlueFloat Energy and Sener Renewable Investments, forming a dominant consortium in Spain’s offshore wind sector. Together, they boast a combined portfolio of approximately 1.25 GW of floating offshore wind projects in Galicia (Parque Nordés), Catalonia (Parc Tramuntana), and the Canary Islands (Parque Tarahal).

Plenitude aligns seamlessly with the sustainable portfolio development approach championed by BlueFloat Energy and Sener Renewable Investments, emphasizing the integration of environmental and social considerations into project design and community engagement. In Spain, Plenitude manages 430 MW of operational solar PV and onshore wind power, with 1 GW under construction and more than 2 GW in various stages of development. The company also operates an extensive network of electric vehicle charging stations, serving over 300,000 customers nationwide.

Operating across 15 countries, Plenitude maintains a portfolio of approximately 3 GW of renewable capacity in operation, with ambitious targets of reaching 7 GW by 2026 and exceeding 15 GW by 2030.
