Octopus Energy’s Kraken platform expands reach through strategic partnership with Plenitude

(IN BRIEF) Plenitude, the retail energy business of Eni, and Kraken, the tech platform of Octopus Energy Group, have entered into a strategic partnership to help Plenitude expand its presence in international retail energy markets. Plenitude will adopt the Kraken platform in the countries where it operates its international retail energy business, replacing its current legacy stack of CRM, billing and industry integration solutions with a single platform. Kraken will offer end-to-end management of the energy supply chain, delivering increased flexibility and scaling potential to Plenitude’s global clients. With this partnership, Octopus Energy Group’s tech platform Kraken widens its reach, taking the total number of its contracted energy accounts to 32 million.

(BIT: ENI), an Italian multinational energy company with focus on innovation, efficiency and accessibility for all,  announces that its Benefit Corporation, Plenitude has entered into a strategic partnership with Kraken, part of Octopus Energy Group, to facilitate the long-term growth of Plenitude’s international retail energy markets.

The multi-national deal will enable Plenitude to gradually implement the Kraken platform across the countries where it operates its international retail energy business, with around 2 million customers across France, Greece, Slovenia, Spain, and Portugal.

The agreement will broaden Kraken’s reach and bring its total number of contracted energy accounts to 32 million. By replacing its current stack of legacy customer relationship management, billing, and industry integration solutions with a single platform, Plenitude aims to simplify processes and streamline its retail energy business.

Kraken’s cloud-based platform provides end-to-end management of the energy supply chain, enabling its global clients to achieve greater flexibility and scaling potential. The platform also offers outstanding customer service, efficient processes, and smart energy products.
