New Apprenticeship Scheme by Tokio Marine Kiln Offers School Leavers Hands-On Experience in Insurance Industry

The apprenticeship scheme provides an appealing alternative for school leavers who are considering their career options, offering a 2-3 year program in underwriting, claims, operations, or IT. Upon completion of the program, apprentices will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent role within TMK.

The introduction of the apprenticeship scheme coincides with TMK’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of its graduate scheme this year.

Ben Langton, who joined TMK as a school leaver in 2017 and is now a claims adjuster, says of his career journey: “Following school, I knew I didn’t want to go to university and wanted to get into work sooner rather than later. The first group of school leavers is encouraged to apply for the apprenticeship scheme starting from July 10 through the TMK website, with their placements scheduled to commence in October.
