Aoife Woulfe, formerly head of intellectual property (IP), assumes the role of head of delegated cyber. Woulfe’s successful transformation of TMK’s IP underwriting process positioned the proposition as a market leader. In her new role, Woulfe will focus on developing TMK’s small and medium enterprise cyber offering. Ellie Webb will now lead TMK’s IP book.

Paul Gooch, previously head of cyber open market, takes on the position of divisional head of large account cyber, overseeing TMK’s large account portfolio. Gooch’s extensive experience and recent recognition as Underwriters’ Leading Underwriter 2023 by Insurindex make him well-suited for the role.

TMK will reinforce its cyber team with new appointments. Daniel Moore, a former barrister and cyber underwriter at Arch Insurance International, joins TMK’s London team from July 18. Sam Bye, an experienced cyber, technology, and professional indemnity underwriter, will join TMK’s Singapore office on August 1, coming from AXA XL.

These appointments follow the establishment of TMK’s standalone Cyber & Enterprise Risk division and the addition of cyber security specialist Luke Fardell to the team, expanding their cyber expertise beyond insurance.

TMK’s strategic appointments demonstrate their commitment to expanding their presence in the cyber market and strengthening their capabilities to meet evolving customer needs.

Laila Khudairi, Head of Cyber & Enterprise Risk at TMK, said: “These appointments further signal our bold intentions for cyber. This is an ever more complex area, with the threat increasing in both frequency and effectiveness. We continue to innovate and add the skills required, building on almost two decades of experience in mitigating cyber risks for our clients.
