ANDRITZ to Deliver State-of-the-Art Treatment Lines to Shandong Nanshan Aluminum

(IN BRIEF) Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd has chosen ANDRITZ to supply two continuous heat treatment lines and one continuous process treatment line for their aluminum production in Longkou, Shandong, China. These lines will be used to manufacture aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets for the automotive and aerospace industries. ANDRITZ will provide engineering, equipment supply, and supervision for the complete lines, with start-up expected in 2025. This order builds upon the existing relationship between the two companies, as ANDRITZ previously supplied other successful lines to Shandong Nanshan Aluminum.

(PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 25-May-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — ANDRITZ (VIE: ANDR), an international technology group based in Austria, announces that Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd, a leading aluminum manufacturer in China, has selected ANDRITZ for the supply of two continuous heat treatment lines (No. 3 and No. 4) and one continuous process treatment line (No. 4) at its mill in Longkou, Shandong. The new lines will facilitate the production of aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets for the automotive and aerospace industries.

Under the agreement, ANDRITZ will provide comprehensive engineering, equipment supply, and supervision for the erection and commissioning of the complete lines, including the electrical and automation equipment. The start-up of the lines is scheduled for 2025.

This order further strengthens the longstanding partnership between ANDRITZ and Shandong Nanshan Aluminum. In 2017, ANDRITZ successfully delivered and commissioned continuous heat treatment line No. 2 and continuous process treatment line No. 3 for the company.
