(IN BRIEF) Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. has successfully launched two ANDRITZ tissue machines at its mill in Zhangzhou, China. The machines, known as PrimeLineTM W 2000, have a design speed of 2,000 m/min and a working width of 5.65 m. Equipped with energy-saving components, the machines feature 20 ft. PrimeDry Steel Yankees and steam-heated hoods. The stock preparation systems utilize Needle Bleached Kraft Pulp (NBKP) and Leaf Bleached Kraft Pulp (LBKP), achieving optimal consistencies and fiber properties. (PRESS RELEASE) GRAZ, 24-May-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — ANDRITZ (VIE: ANDR), an international technology group based in Austria, announces that Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. has achieved a successful startup of two ANDRITZ tissue machines, along with stock preparation and automation systems, at its mill located in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, China.

The tissue machines, known as PrimeLineTM W 2000, are designed for optimal performance, featuring a design speed of 2,000 m/min and a working width of 5.65 m. These machines are equipped with energy-saving components, including 20 ft. PrimeDry Steel Yankees and steam-heated hoods.

The stock preparation systems, utilizing Needle Bleached Kraft Pulp (NBKP) and Leaf Bleached Kraft Pulp (LBKP), incorporate FibreSolve FSV pulpers, a pulp screw press, and HC refiners to achieve consistencies ranging from 25% to 30%, while maintaining excellent fiber properties. The scope of the project also encompasses approach flow systems, efficient broke handling, and a comprehensive fabrics and rolls package, including forming fabrics, press felts, and roll covers, ensuring optimal dewatering performance at high speed.

Established in 2020, Liansheng Pulp & Paper (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. serves as a new production base for the Liansheng Paper Group, one of the largest packaging paper manufacturers in Fujian, China. With a strong emphasis on environmentally friendly production, the company entered the household paper production industry to further expand its operations.
