(IN BRIEF) HKB-Hoa Lu Paper Co., Ltd. has successfully launched an OCC (old corrugated containers) line and reject treatment system provided by ANDRITZ at its mill in Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam. The new line has a processing capacity of 500 t/d and produces high-quality testliner and corrugated medium for the local and Chinese markets. The project demonstrates excellent cooperation between HKB-Hoa Lu Paper and ANDRITZ, leading to a successful start-up as scheduled. The innovative technology employed ensures high efficiency, superior stock quality, and minimal fiber losses, making it a highly competitive system.

ANDRITZ’s scope of supply comprised the complete stock preparation equipment including the approach flow, fiber recovery, and reject treatment systems, detailed engineering and supervision of erection and commissioning as well as operation and maintenance support.

The innovative technology, including PrimePulping LC system, PrimeScreen X, dispersing system, ModuScreen HBE, as well as saveall DiscFilter, ensures high efficiency and superior final stock quality paired with excellent fiber properties. Minimum fiber losses and low specific power consumption are further benefits of the new system.
