BERLINALE 2013 IS A BIG CROWD-PULLER

14-2-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Visitors continue to flock to the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival. Its halftime and already 250,000 tickets have been sold.

”This year’s Berlinale is proving to be a big crowd-puller again. The visitors’ enthusiasm for film is truly impressive. Audiences are curious to experience the different forms of cinema offered here at the Festival. We are tremendously pleased,” says Festival Director Dieter Kosslick.

The European Film Market (EFM) is once again on track for success: interest on the part of exhibitors has increased in 2013. At 890, the number of films represented is also higher this year than last year. At both venues, the Martin-Gropius-Bau and the Marriott Hotel at Potsdamer Platz, there is a steady stream of interested visitors.
