Dornbirn, Austria, 31-May-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — As a way of thanking all long-serving employees who have spent a total of 4,080 years working for the company, the Zumtobel Group held a jubilee celebration on 24 May 2017. A total of 217 employees of the Zumtobel Group and its brands celebrated a milestone in working for the company during a festive evening at the headquarters in Dornbirn.

With the third celebration of this kind, the Zumtobel Group continued a still recent company tradition of inviting all long-serving employees to one big event and thanking them for their loyalty over the last years.

“In the course of this celebration, we would like to sincerely thank all long-serving employees for their longstanding commitment. They have supported us in the best possible way and have helped us shape the company’s future. Their talents, their ideas, their knowledge and their experience are an important contribution to the success of the Zumtobel Group. We appreciate it very much, to have such committed and loyal employees at our side and look forward to more years of successful cooperation”,
said Christian Ranacher, Senior Vice President Global HR.

At the event, a full spectrum of service milestones was celebrated: starting with 10-year service anniversaries and continuing in 5-year increments up to 45 years of loyalty to the company. Beside the Zumtobel Group management and the members of the workers council, supervisors as well as partners of the honorees were invited to join the celebration. Honorary guests who attended the celebration were Mario Kempf, head of the VEM section of the Economic Chamber, which represents Vorarlberg’s electrical and metal industries, as well as Gerhard Ouschan, head of education policy at Vorarlberg Chamber of Labour.

The honours were presented in four blocks between the individual courses of the festive dinner. Once the official part of the event was concluded, the evening ended with music and dancing as well as pleasant conversations.
