Lima Expresa, VINCI Highways subsidiary in Peru, to upgrade toll plazas and bus stops as part of EUR 48 million investment plan

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 14-Sep-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — VINCI Highways, a leading concessions company and provider of road transport services and part of VINCI Concessions SA, has announced that its subsidiary operating the Lima ring road expressways in Peru, Lima Expresa will execute on a 220 million sol (~€48 million) investment plan over the next five years to increase capacity and traffic flow by upgrading toll plazas and bus stops.

In terms of road safety, the plan will reinforce embankments, improve crossing devices and ensure the complete renovation of 17 km of pavement on the Via de Evitamiento with HIMA (Highly Modified Asphalt). This asphalt requires less maintenance in the long term and provides a more pleasant and safer experience for drivers.
