Leadec announces trainee positions available across Germany

Leadec is increasing the number of training places this year.

(PRESS RELEASE) STUTTGART, 1-Sep-2021 — /EuropaWire/ — Leadec, a Stuttgart based leader in technical services for the automotive and manufacturing industries, has announced it is increasing the number of trainee positions available in the new training year. Approximately 40 young adults are embarking on their careers in 16 different disciplines in 14 towns and cities throughout Germany. The sites in Reutlingen, Sindelfingen and Schweinfurt are offering training for the first time in 2021, thereby expanding regional training opportunities offered by the technical service provider for industry.

“Contrary to current trends, we have increased the number of training places this year and have further expanded our training opportunities. We are thus setting an example for vocational training,” explains Claudia Gröner-Braun, Senior Vice President HR Division Europe at Leadec.

The trainee careers on offer at Leadec range from the fields of electronics to information technology, mechatronics, metal construction, construction or cutting mechanics, through to office management training. Trainee positions in the fields of building cleaning and warehouse logistics have been added in 2021. These young professionals will go on to work in facility management or the increasingly important field of internal logistics.

The Leadec teams work primarily for companies from the automotive and manufacturing industries, often directly in the facilities and factories of customers such as Daimler, BMW or Bosch. Leadec has been supporting its customers along the entire production value chain for about 60 years, from planning new facilities, to developing powerful production IT and automation solutions, through to successful start-up and maintenance.

At home in the factory

“Leadec keeps over 300 factories running globally every day. Our experts take care of the maintenance of the facilities and the infrastructure in production and buildings and support all peripheral processes that make up a manufacturing facility. The factory is an exciting workplace because there is so much going on: from the move towards e-mobility to increasing digitalization, through to the fully connected smart factory. These multifaceted requirements are also reflected in our wide range of training opportunities,” adds Claudia Gröner-Braun.

Service specialist Leadec currently employs 5,600 staff in Germany and about 18,000 worldwide. In recent years, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions. This is also reflected in the number of employees: there are currently almost 400 vacancies throughout Germany. As a global company, Leadec provides a secure local base as well as a multitude of professional development opportunities. “We continuously invest in advanced training for our employees to ensure we are well prepared for changes in the market and the latest trends such as e-mobility,” says Gröner-Braun.
