Alma Media Solutions Launches Efficiency Drive with Change Negotiations

Change negotiations, excluding Netello employees, are set to commence, potentially resulting in the reduction of up to 38 positions. (PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 4-Mar-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Alma Media’s centralised organisation for advertising sales and development of digital advertising Alma Media Solutions is planning efficiency enhancement measures to strengthen future competitiveness. The negotiations planned by Alma Media Solutions are based on the market’s subdued growth outlook and on the intention to accelerate implementation of the strategy through re-organisation. In addition, previous system investments will enable more automated and efficient processes in the operations of Alma Media solutions in the future.

Alma Media Solutions will start change negotiations with its personnel regarding Alma Media’s centralised organisation for advertising sales and development of digital advertising. The negotiations do not include Netello employees. According to current estimates, the implementation of planned measures can lead to a reduction of up to 38 people.

The negotiations will discuss the employer’s initial plans for improving the efficiency of operations and the possible effects of their implementation on personnel. Topics covered include among others, reorganisation of functions, changes in job descriptions and transfers from one task to another, as well as training and relocation opportunities.
