Skanska’s Q1 2023 US Order Bookings to Include $171 Million Contract for Atlanta Data Center

(IN BRIEF) Skanska, a Swedish construction company, has secured a contract worth $171 million to build a data center in Atlanta, Georgia for an existing client. The project involves constructing a new single-story data center spanning over 23,000 square meters and is expected to be completed in March 2024. The contract will be included in the company’s US order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 6-April-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska has signed a contract with an existing client to build a data center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The contract is worth USD 171M, about SEK 1.8 billion, which will be included in the US order bookings for the first quarter of 2023.

The project consists of a new single story data center, totaling approximately 23,000 square meters.

Work is underway and is scheduled for completion in March 2024.
