Skanska to complete Phoenix data center project in November 2023
(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 12-Jan-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced it signed a contract to build a data center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, for a cost of USD 98M, or SEK 990M / EUR 91M. The project will be included in the company’s order bookings for the fourth quarter of 2022 and will consist of a new two-story data center and office building, totaling approximately 80,000 square meters. This is the second project Skanska has undertaken for the client and the first ground-up project under a master contract agreement. The data center is the final building in a series of construction projects on a seven-acre campus and is scheduled for completion in November 2023.
