(PRESS RELEASE) MLADÁ BOLESLAV, 10-Aug-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — The fifth edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift concluded with Stage 9 in Nice, France, where Dutch cyclist Demi Vollering secured the overall victory and fellow Dutch rider Lorena Wiebes won the points classification.

As winner of the points classification, Wiebes received the green crystal trophy created by Škoda Design.

The trophy was presented by Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Chief Development Officer.

Škoda Auto has served as Official Main Partner of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift since the inaugural edition in 2022.

For this year’s race, the Czech carmaker supplied a support fleet of 75 electrified Superb iV and Enyaq vehicles.

The company also continued its sponsorship of the green jersey, worn by the leader of the points classification.

This year’s race was the most demanding edition to date.

A total of 154 riders from 22 teams covered a record distance of 1,175 kilometres, with 18,795 metres of elevation gain.

Škoda Design again created the trophy for the points classification winner.

The green crystal cup incorporates elements of the brand’s Modern Solid design language.

Johannes Neft said the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift had once again highlighted the strong individual performances of the participating athletes.

He congratulated the riders and thanked the organisers and fans for creating a strong atmosphere along the route.

Neft said Škoda Auto is proud to have supported the event from the beginning as Official Main Partner.

He noted that the brand’s new flagship, the all-electric Škoda Peaq, served as the Race Director’s vehicle, while the new Škoda Epiq appeared in the publicity caravan.

He added that the fleet of 75 electrified Superb iV and Enyaq models helped keep the race moving and demonstrated Škoda’s continued connection to cycling.

The all-new, fully electric Škoda Peaq served as the Red Car for Race Director Marion Rousse.

In this role, the vehicle functioned as a comprehensively equipped mobile command centre during the race.

Škoda’s second all-new electric model, the Epiq, also featured prominently in the publicity caravan as part of the accompanying “Ooooh, that’s Epiq” campaign.

Škoda Auto also continued to engage cycling fans through its WeLoveCycling platform.

The platform provided exclusive race coverage, behind-the-scenes stories and competitions.

This year’s content was linked to Epiq Moments, the promotional campaign for the new Epiq.

Fans also received reports from inside the peloton by Katarzyna “Kasia” Niewiadoma-Phinney.

Škoda Auto’s relationship with cycling dates back to the company’s origins in bicycle production in 1895.

The carmaker continues to support cycling at multiple levels, from professional events to amateur races.

The company supports numerous events organised by A.S.O. under an agreement running until 2028.

Since last year, Škoda Auto has also been an official partner of two major Union Cycliste Internationale events: the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships and the UCI Gravel World Championships.

The company also supports events for amateur riders, including leading L’Étape by Tour de France races held in countries around the world.

Through its continued support of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Škoda Auto is reinforcing its long-standing connection to cycling while showcasing its latest electric models and mobility technologies on one of the sport’s leading international stages.
